I am a bit of a geek. I have plenty of toys. I have a stable job, a car, a house and a relatively low stress life. I have never been married. I got a late start at dating.

I made a personal decision not to drink or smoke. I don't mind dating women who do. Drugs are a nogo.

I grew up in a military family and I served myself. I grew tired of moving around every few years. I am settled now in the Sacramento area and I plan to stay here.

I am chivalrous. I will open doors, carry things and do other things to respect women. In a relationship, I ask for and expect the woman I am seeing to give her input. I also don't make any distinction between "man's" work or "woman's" work. It is all work to me. I do all of my own laundry, cleaning and cooking. I expect any woman that I date to be independant but also not afraid to ask for help. It makes me happy when I can help a friend. I certainly will be glad to help the woman of my life.

I have a happy life and I want to share it with a woman that wants to spend it with me.

The first date will just be a 1 hour meeting at a Starbucks or a restuarant. This is the internet so safety protocols are in order to protect both of us.

The 2nd date will be a real "date". We will have dinner at a nice restuarant. For the evening's activity, we will do something that will allow us to carry on a conversation such as bowling, miniture golf, a concert or a community activity depending on the time of year.
