I've been pretty lucky in my life so far. I am originally from Boston so I definitely have an east coast mentality and i'm a big Sox fan. I've worked in the technology sector (engineering, IT, production, satellite) of the television industry for the past 10 years, both here in SF as well as New York. I work pretty hard and i'm pretty happy with my career. Outside of work, i spend a lot of my winter up in Tahoe, snowboarding at Kirkwood. I do alot of biking around the city. i play in a softball league. i am a huge, huge music nerd. music is an absolute must and a constant in my life. my taste covers just about every genre, and sub genre and micro genre (except bluegrass and jam bands). i believe there'll be a special place in hell for phish! i also make a little music on the side. and read a ton of books. i am very much into art as well as independent film.

i look pretty normal but be aware that i am also fairly covered in tattoos. just throwing that out there in case that is a turn off.
i like trying everything. i am sometimes more comfortable when i am completely out of my element. I am more than happy to make plans and suggest things to do and places to go but I would expect the same in return.

i like road trips to santa cruz, finding good restaurants, quiet dive bars with good jukeboxes, movies at the kabuki theater, green apple bookstore, and walking to get coffee in the morning. i love animals especially dogs.

i'm looking for someone who has a lot of interests and opinions. someone who likes conversation. someone who doesn't just want to "do whatever you want to do" i am looking for someone who is confident in who they are but may also be slightly nerdy and dorky. someone who wants to go out and experience the world, except when they would rather just stay in.
I know online dating is kinda weird and very hard, but I'm also looking for someone with some enthusiasm and willing to give it an honest try.
