I am just an easy going country boy that enjoys the simple things in life.
I enjoy the outdoors when it's not too hot and I enjoy gardening even though I am not too good at it. Ha ha!
In March of 2008 I had gastric bypass surgery and have since lost 189 pounds and I am slowly getting my life back in order after many years of living with obesity. I am hoping that people will be able to see past this shortcoming and see me for my real self. I currently weigh 300 pounds, down from when I started at 489 pounds. (No, that was not a typo)
I just want to meet a decent lady who is down to earth and respects herself first and foremost. You can't expect someone to treat you with respect if they don't first respect themselves. At the same time I am not looking for what would be considered by many to be a perfect woman. I am not a perfect man and I am not looking for the perfect woman. There's a place for all the perfect people in this country, it's called Hollywood. LoL! We all have flaws, that is what makes us all unique, right? I am not so shallow as to just look at the outward appearance of a person, it's what's in the heart that matters most.
Classic rock is my favorite music. I also like some newer country as well as blues.
Some of my favorite TV shows are WWE Monday Night Raw, America's Funniest Videos, Monk, Burn Notice, Leverage, Eureka, Deadliest Catch, Sons of Anarchy.
Some of my favorite movies are "Oh Brother Where Art Thou", "Forrest Gump", all three of the Lord of the Rings movies.
