Hi There.

I’ve been fishing for awhile, with a few nibbles, but I’ve yet to find my “Walter” so my line stays in the water!

I have been a single mom for several years now, and while it has, at times, been challenging, I find it rewarding.

I work full time, and spend (too much) time volunteering with minor hockey. I’m addicted, what can I say! Its such a great sport, I love watching the kids out there giving it their all no matter what their skill level, and I like being a part of making that happen for them. So, yes, I am a HUGE Canucks fan. Win or lose, I come back to them every year. One day, very soon, they will go the distance, (statistically speaking, the have to win it eventually, law of averages …something like that??!?!)

I love! Love! Love! music, (with a few exceptions of gansta rap and country) it can always pick you up even on the most down of days! Rock, classical, alternative, you name it, I will probably like it. Even if I have never heard it before, I’m a sucker for a catchy riff. I like the theater and musicals, and have seen a few shows in Vancouver and one in London (Phantom..wow, what a show)

I have many interests, but not a lot of time to pursue them all. Camping, biking, and fishing …most outdoor activities. I can be pretty overbearing sometimes, particularly if it is a subject I feel passionate about, but I can ..CAN admit when I am wrong.

I’m looking to find a man who can make me laugh, who can listen to me crank if I’ve had bad day, or who can I can just sit with and say nothing at all. As mentioned above, I am a single mom, so this man has to understand that my boy comes first. I don’t let him run the show, but he has to be factored in most of my life decisions….for now :)

I would like to meet someone who can appreciate me for me..the good, the bad, and the downright u.g.l.y! (come on, we all have em!) as I would for him. Its all about give and take, and I’m not the type to do all the taking. I like doing things for people, I like to help, so someone who is generous and giving would be nice.

It would be nice to find a man who shares some of my interests, but can maybe introduce me to a few new ones! I’m always willing to try something new.
