If you are looking for a woman that is and can be many things, then I'm you're girl. I'm originally from the north and grew up as a country girl, but expanded my experiences to working in NYC for awhile and then moving around the east coast. I've been calling the Carolinas home now for 4 years.

I consider myself to be classy and casual, sassy yet sensitive, adventurous but stable, pensive or playful, outgoing but laid back, creative and interesting, confident yet humble, responsible but mischievious, trustworthy but cautious, smart and silly, a giver more than a taker, strong and athletic but always soft, sexy and feminine.

I can be happy doing most anything, as long as I'm with the right person. I have lots of interests and am capable and willing of doing most anything. I like to be spontaneous . . . it's the unplanned sometimes that make up for the most memorable times. I can go from one extreme to another. Maybe take a motorcycle ride to a scenic area, or put on some hiking boots and go up to the mountains to explore or ride horses. Play pool in a hole in the wall bar or put on a little black dress and go out to dinner in a nice restaurant. If we are too tired to go out, maybe just get some take-out and eat by the fireplace. We can talk all night or not say anything, listen to music while we share a bottle of wine and just enjoy eachother's company. I have a playful wild side to me that will show itself when least expected or when the time has been planned for it. I would never hesitate taking up an invitation to out dancing and maybe getting a little rowdy at a nightclub.

I appreciate the natural things in life and find joy in simple pleasures and moments. Like, walking in the snow, sitting in a hot tub under the stars, put a blanket on top of the truck and watch fireworks, sitting by a campfire, walking in the surf on the beach, traveling someplace new and experiencing all it has to offer, watching the sun rise and set, making people laugh, sleeping in on the weekends making the man in my life feel special. But, as much as I relish simplicity, I am very ambitious and driven.

I was married a long time and enjoyed devoting my life to my husband, our family and our personal business. But, "forever" wasn't meant to be. As hard as it was for that chapter to close, as the song says, sometimes "good-bye" is a second chance. So, since my divorce, I have new dreams and fun aspirations I want to accomplish. I'm hoping I can do that with someone special in my life. Whoever that ends up being can learn about what those are later.

I detest drama or people that seem to thrive on creating dysfuntion for their lives. Had someone like that for way too long and now I avoid that personality/lifestyle at all costs. Do you tend to be jealous and insecure? Please move on. If I'm the woman in your life, I'm die hard loyal to you and will always work hard to keep the relationship strong, healthy and full of surprises.

I appreciate men that are responsible, honest, sensitive, active, stay fit, are emotionally balanced and are confident, not 'kocky'. No smokers and no excessive drinking. Both are poison not only to the mind, body and soul - but also to a relationship.

Right now I am dating because I am looking for that one incredible guy to share my life with long term. That doesn't mean I'm a "serial dater". I'm not looking for someone to provide me with my next meal, an expensive night out, or a liquor free-for-all. None of that impresses me anyway! I know what I want and will continue searching until the right person comes along. I refuse to settle for less than what I need to be happy. And - if we aren't meant to be together long-term, than having one more friend is always a good thing.

When you don't really know someone, I think the first time you get together is more like a personal introduction - not a date. Something casual, somewhat quiet to be able to talk and see where it could go from there. I believe there has to be that special unspoken chemistry between two people. If it's there, then our first meeting could turn into something memorable. If something else was to be planned, then it could be anything we think we'd enjoy together. Drinks & dancing? Candlelight dinner? Picnic in the mountains? A concert or show? The possibilities are endless.
