Have raised my 2 kids who are now on their own journey. It’s been a wonderful time getting to this point in my life, with many achievement and wonderful memories. Upon reflection, I have been blessed with excellent health, athletic talent (Olympic team) and peers/ mentors that have molded my attitude and a passion for life. Through my past and present careers, I have been fortunate to have traveled extensively, meeting wonderful people and places.
As with most people, I live through a set of core values, without these values, I am nothing.
I have a great passion for many things including the outdoors which to me is the closest thing to paradise on this planet. I stay active and fit so I can enjoy what gifts this world has to offer. I'm really just a big kid that loves to play, but on the flip side can handle just about any crisis that may occur. (the nature of my job demands that). I am a straight shooter(sometimes too blunt) and I don't play games or lie( very important).

I pride myself on being balanced. That means apply critical thinking to each situation... And remember, communication is doing twice as much listening as talking. I have also learned not to sweat the small stuff in life... it’s just not worth it.
Very open to new adventures/ideas and feel as comfortable speaking in front of a thousand people as being on a ski slopes, dinner party, a remote mountain top or kayaking/boating on BC’s remote coastline. As equally important, is being curled up with a great movie, glass of wine, doing absolutely nothing... remember, it’s all about balance. I have learned to be thankful for what I have, because there are many less fortunate. No point in complaining because most people don’t really care.

I know what I want in a lady. I don’t think I have to go into great detail, hopefully the same values /qualities that I live by. It all comes down to knowing what you want and where you want to go(I’ll meet you there). I am old fashion yet modern in my thinking and can clean a toilet as well as anyone!

Elegance is not being noticed, but being remembered.

On a first date I would like to keep it neutral by going to a fine restaurant, preferably by a water way, park etc.. If the date is going well and a chemistry existed, I would like to take a long walk outside or sit in a park enjoying each others company and chat till the sun comes up. When I go to bed (alone)... I will think about her, nothing else, not sleep and wake up with an incredible smile on my face!. Want to keep it simple.. the only stimulus I want/need is her!
