What I love most is finding a new way of seeing the same old thing - whether through travel, literature, art, conversation, philosophy, etc.: my last 'ah-ha' moments were learning that "beautiful" is a verb rather than an adjective in Burmese, and that Russia might be the closest thing to a free market economy.

I enjoy doing anything that makes my world more interesting or more beautiful: escaping into a good story or a good discussion, practicing yoga, hosting dinner parties, attending live events - theatre, music, lectures, going for walk, "solving" all the world's problem, enjoying a drink with basil and cardamom, or crab legs with butter, taking part in any activity on, in or near the water....

I'm looking for someone who can do both "black-tie" and "hole-in-the-wall"....has great manners but doesn't mind getting dirty...enjoys a night in as much as a night out...loves life but doesn't take it too seriously.

My time at work is spent looking at the world through others' eyes, and in the times in between I enjoy experiencing it through my own.
