I am a Registered Nurse who likes people and the life they bring to me. I like to be busy, always have some kind of project going on, it can be anywhere from small wood-working projects to making a quilt, to painting a picture. I like: to go on weekend trips, festivals, wineries, and just take off to who knows where, dance (mostly country, 70's rock, occasionaly jazz & blues), drink margaritta's or sweet red wine, occasionally, and go to church most Sundays. I hope some day have a painting in an art gallery, and go to Italy. I like the simple life, don't have a lot of hang-ups, don't have a lot of debt, don't like drama, nagging, or complaining. I'm pretty flexable, and adaptable, although I do have my limits.

I live on a farm, (its a hobby farm), the old homestead, my kids and I are remodeling it. Its a old historical brick house on a dead end road, it would make a great bed/breakfast, hunters retreat, or vineyard someday (if the family will ever give up having Christmas here). You can sit on the front porch and watch the deer\turkey\cayote\armidillo in the yard (I also have a 22 on the front porch, lol). I love its sereanity after a long day at work. But I still have a need to get all dressed up and go to the city, usually Tulsa/Owasso, sometimes Joplin/Bartlesville. I am a country girl at heart, but certainly not a redneck woman.

I like to grow things, all kinds of things, flowers, vegetable garden, pecan trees, grapes, blackberries, and grandkids. I can cook if I have to, and do enjoy cooking Sunday dinner, thanksgiving dinner, and christmas dinner, but I would rather grow it and help you cook it, of course I don't mind doing the clean-up. I do try to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but not a fanatic. I get a lot of exercise here at the farm and at work.

I have 3 children and 5 grand-children, none of which live with me, and I love to spend time with all of them, but they do respect my time, and I do respect theirs also. My family would say I am understanding, helpful, reliable, independent, doesn't always follow the rules, and sometimes is stubborn, and can't cook anything without burning something, but we love her anyway and her grand-children love her even more.

My friends would say: "You are such a realist, and I appreciate your simple up-front honesty", "one of the most positive people I ever knew", level headed, hard-working, trust-worthy, honest, helpful, funny, dependable and caring.

I have a wonderful life, family, and home. I am at peace with who I am and where I am at in life. I have a passion to live each day to the fullest and am finding this hard to do by myself. I need someone to share my affection, love, and whatever comes next with.

Maybe a sidewalk cafe somewhere. At least something more casual where we could talk and get to know each other.
