I'm definitely not a homebody. I love living in DC and being able to walk out the front door and have endless(somewhat) possibilities. Like most DC'ers I don't take full advantage of all the city has to offer. I would like to change that.
I enjoy playing and watching sports. I love to play volleyball, baseball, golf...pretty much anything. Getting the competitive juices flowing makes life worth living in my mind.
Even though I love being out and about, I do enjoy getting lost in a good book. I read quite a bit. When I'm in to a book(which is quite often), I have a hard time putting it down. I usually end up staying up way too late, reading until my eyes just can't stay open. I really enjoy books that can take me somewhere I've never been or put me in a situation that that is foreign to me. I think it's the dreamer in me.
My friends are quite varied. I think it comes from growing up in a very diverse part of New York City. I get along with almost everyone. If I don't like you, you probably kick puppies or are a Red Sox fan. I said almost everyone :) I'm the type of person who loves taking flights just so I can meet someone new and hear their story.
I also love to travel. I didn't do as much as would have like to this year, but I think Hong Kong is tops on my list for next year. What's on your list?
So that is a little about me. The person I would be interested needs to be open minded, intelligent, passionate about something, independent and loves to laugh. Life can get pretty serious at times, so we really need to enjoy the good times.

The key here is just to start getting to know someone. I guess somewhere where we could have a conversation and relax. People watching is always a great way to get to know a person.
