For starters, I am: artistic (the "starving artist" type); a writer; a wildlife and domestic animal enthusiast; moody; animated; charming; creative; sassy; outspoken; passionate; emotional; a full-time philosopher; sarcastic; uncensored; politically incorrect; open-minded; witty; spiritual; nurturing; a lover of learning and broadening my horizons; eccentric; eclectic; non-judgmental; a playful pervert.

I enjoy the outdoors (camping, fishing, hiking, nature trails, etc). I'm very down to Earth and easy going, so it's rare for me to get hyper much or be overly bubbly. I'm the type of person that doesn't make plans, and I tend to play things by ear. I have the mouth of a sailor "Yaaaar!" I guess you could categorize me as a "nerd" or "geek", simply because I'd rather be scoping out a quaint bookstore over going to a loud and stuffy club or bar (but that doesn't mean I'm not up for spontaneous adventures). I enjoy cooking. Most of the cuisine is vegan because I have strict dietary needs, but I'm not opposed or offended by people who choose to consume meat. I enjoy piercings and tattoos, as well as other body modifications. I'm a fan of coffee (and tea). Nothing offends me. I have a dark sense of humor for the most part ( I love blood, guts, and gore OH MY!) I have a tendency to be serious most of the time, but I rarely take myself seriously :) I love talking; if given the chance, I could talk for days on end -- on the polar opposite, I tend to be quite reserved and quiet sometimes (depends on the day). I'm quirky, no doubt about that. I'm not in the least bit "clingy"; that being said, I enjoy my space away from people (in a relationship or friendship setting)..don't take that the wrong way, because I still like human interaction - I'm just not the "lost puppy" type where I need to constantly be around someone in order to feel "wanted" or "loved".

I'm really good at:
..."artsy-fartsy" stuff.
...turning frowns upside-down.
...cooking.
...being clever and all that jazz.
...taking care of the sick and wounded (be it animals or humans).
...pampering someone I care about.

Books: I will read quite literally everything and anything.
Movies: Horror. Action adventure. Obscure comedy. Foreign.
Music: Metal. 80's Pop. Grunge. Classical. Blues. Bluegrass. Country circa 1950-60.
Food: Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Mediterranean, Vegan.

I don't do "dates". I prefer "casually hanging out"..and NO, I don't mean getting down and dirty and swapping precious bodily fluids. I like taking things s-l-o-w; there's less pressure that way. I'm not just looking for friends but also activity partners, someone for talk/e-mail, and hang out. If after a few casual get-togethers it seems appropriate to be more than friends, I'm not opposed to long-term dating.
