If you are more worried about what your friends and family are gonna think about the man you choose to be with than you yourself about how you may feel about him, then you have issues. The relationship you have is with your man, not with everyone on the outside looking in.

I am a writer. I am looking for a non-smoking female who understands the depths that a love can go to when both people feel the need and desire to love and cherish each other on a spiritual level.

I am also an ex-soldier. I am well organized and squared away. In my daily profession, proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance. I am a detail orientated person, but that does not mean that I don't know how to have a good time.


I will assess the situation and act accordingly. I do however believe in second chances. But since I'm not Judge Judy or Judge Hachette, you can save your second chances for when they count. I am looking for the real thing this time. A real lady who is willing to stand beside me and go all the way to the wall for me, as I will do the same for her.

There are no color barriers with me. I'm like Captain Kirk in that respect. She can be green from Jupiter if she is in my corner. So girls don’t hate the brother, tighten your game. Now I know some of you will read this and think. Ain’t he got some nerves? The answer to that question is yes, I do. And if you ever hope to find the real deal hero and stop being played by zeros, you will get some nerves too.

The character of a person is molded over years of trying hard to envisage that person you want to become and doing something everyday to become that person. I have done that, and I am pleased with what I see when I look in the mirror each day. I am not vain, but I know what I could have been if I had been weak and allowed peer pressure to rule my life. I made it out of a bad existence, to one more palatable. Yes, I would call my life a success. I don't smoke for several reasons, but the most important are simple. It kills you slowly and those around you, plus it stinks. So if you smoke, you are wasting your time. I don't drink. But I do taste a little of this and that from time to time depending upon the circumstances.

I like a sweet Red Wine found in Greece, The sweet white Wines of Germany, and Alize' from the Ghetto. However as a Diabetic, I have to be careful with everything I consume if I want to be around for another fifty years. And I take the Medformin pills not injections, so that's not something you need to worry about.

So there you have it. I am in a sense, a modern day Busihdo i.e.(Samurai), Warrior and a real man who respects women and loves his children. If it's a Knight in shinning armour that you are looking for, look no further. When it comes right down to it. I am the sum of manys years of going it alone, even when I was in a relationship. Now I need you in my life to finish the process.

Life in every breath. That's the Samurai way. See the beauty in all things and you might recognize it in yourself.

Animal Lover's:

I have to put this out there because I have been bitten in the past. (By the human not the animal) If you plan to love your dog or cat more than me, I don't think we should start something that will allow an animal to destroy it. I say this beacuse, the human condition requires a certain amount of attention. I am afraid I don't play second string to the house hold pet, just like I won't make you be second to football, friends or anything else. If its a pet you want, wait until you find the man you want, and the two of you decide together that a pet is good for the relationship.

If you already have a pet, you have some soul searching to do, and some decisions to make. Holidays, visits from friends and children that have access to your pet, depending on what it is, can soon become a problem for the two of you. If not managed properly. I can't stand not being able to be impulsive and take my woman away for a romantic week end and then remember that we have a responcibility to a pet that can't just be left to chance. People who do that should be shot..........Proper prior planning pervents piss poor performance.

My Accomplishments are many;

I have penned four novels. I am almost finished my fifth and when I return to my home town of Chicago. I will get them published and take my place amongst the names of those that will forever be remembered as people who tried to make a difference in a post slavery modern society. I fully expect to one day be recognized and celebrated as a writer and movie maker. See you at the Oscars. But will you be in the audience or on the red carpet next to me?

It's also a coming out of soon, and is a very sorted tale.I say that because I am known for who I have always been, but now that I know who my Biological father is supposed to be, let's just say it's gonna be a very interesting future. You could say it's gonna be a knock out.

I have over 50 other titles for ideas that I have yet to write and will be getting started as soon as I return to the States.

I look forward to hearing from the woman brave enough to think about walking down the Red Carpet with me once it's all said and done.

On a first date:

Communications is the key to any successful coupling of two people. I would contact you and ask you to aid me in my quest to make our day one that neither of us would soon forget.

We would probably meet at a place of your choosing. You could bring whoever you deemed necessary with you if you need the morale support or feel you need security close at hand. But only on the understanding that once you are comfortable with me and see what an amazing person I am that your personal security is soon dispatched back home to await your arrival where if you so desire, you can discuss the unbelievable that evening that you and I just had together.

A proper evening out with me consists of a welcoming drink, a starter and a main course, closely accompanied by an amazing conversation and dessert. If the evening graduates to one that you just don't want to end, so be it. A change of venue may be on the cards with a menu which I hope will delight you with everything you need to make your dreams come true.

But please, if after this date you like me, tell me. I gave up on trying to read a woman’s minds long ago. Because I will ask you if you like me enough to carry on seeing each other, so I suggest you do the same. I will never lie to you or cheat. If that’s what you are used to in a man, then get ready for the real deal. I have only been hurt before because I lead with my heart. If you break it, you only get one chance. I won’t let you break it again.

Love is something that heals all wounds. But it only has a limited ability to keep going. Be sure you won’t break my heart; you could be the death of me.
