I am an Illinois State alum. I teach Physical Education at an elementary school and will be coaching high school baseball this spring. I am very passionate about my career choice. I feel that people need to be passionate about something. My passion is sports.. teaching, coaching, playing, watching, and reading all about it.

On my spare time, I like hanging out with friends and playing video games, playing my guitar, doing some sort of physical activity that works up a sweat, and watching movies/tv shows on dvd.

I love all sorts of music. I am still weak in the country genre but open to give more bands a shot. Some of my favorite bands are Dashboard Confessional, O.A.R., Motion City Soundtrack, Saves the Day, The Audition, Cartel, Anberlin and The Rocket Summer.

I really enjoy watching epic movies. Gladiator and Glory are my favorite ones. Can never go wrong with comedies and horror films as well.

My favorite tv show is It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It is down right hilarious and because of that show, I now enjoy drinking wine in a can.

I am very big on my family, faith and friends. I am Catholic and my religion is very important to me. I love spending time with my family whenever possible and I am close with them.

Some things I just don't understand..
-Why are girls obsessed with friendly vampires?!
-Why do all girls have those purses with the "C" all over it?!
-I don't get what the big deal is with UFC or whatever that ridiculous sport is called.. I mean I respect the training they go through but beating each other senseless can't be good for their health and longevity in the long run.
-I don't have any piercings or tattoos, but it seems that most girls like that..
-I don't wear flat billed hats to the side, I think that's a ridiculous fashion trend
-I don't talk like a tool or ghetto gangsta like.. and It annoys me when girls talk like they are texting, dumb!

Look, I am a self proclaimed dork. I quote movies all the time, I make up my own words, I am easily amused and I just like to enjoy the little things in life. I am always looking to meet new people and make new friends.. anything else you want to know, just ask!

Who knows, maybe do something competitive like mini golf, or bowling. Maybe go canoeing or play catch?! I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
