It's hard to talk about yourself in one of these things and list your attributes for someone to categorize you and decide whether or not you seem like an interesting person... particularly when one tends more toward humility. But apparently that's how it's done so here goes:

I'm tall, average build, blue eyes. I'm considered to be intelligent, quick-witted, sarcastic, and funny. I'm literate, passionate, eccentric and I have a cheesy sense of humor! I've been divorced for a couple years so the emotional baggage that comes with something like that has been reduced from full set of luggage to perhaps a small carry-on. Haha. I moved down here a couple months ago for a promotion and I haven't had much time to try and meet people. Mostly I've just been a bit lonely and would like someone (female) to hang out with in my down time. Maybe we could hit a movie or grab a drink... I'm pretty much game for anything. As far as long term goes, I'm not really looking to get married again. And I don't really like or want kids... I don't have a problem with commitment and I've always been more of a "relationship guy" but I do have a pretty clear picture on what I do or don't want for my future. I love my job and I'm good at it but I don't work any overtime so I have a fair amount of downtime. I love music! I mostly listen to punk, rock, some indie stuff, and some folk, but I'm open to hearing new stuff for the most part!

I suppose I should include a bit about what I'm looking for as well... I wouldn't say that I have a "type" because I'm always attracted more to the person as a whole and not just appearance! But looks matter at least a bit in initial attraction so hopefully you're proportionate at least... That awkwardness aside, I'm looking primarily for a woman who knows who she is and isn't afraid to be herself. Someone who is also intelligent, literate and able to carry on a conversation. I've always been a sucker for a pretty face and a nice laugh. Age isn't important, but ideally you're old enough to drink in public and young enough to understand text messaging... haha. You must like cats! That's an important one. Right now my cats are the only ones sharing a bed with me and keeping me company so if you're allergic or phobic to cats don't bother. I'm self-sufficient but not rich so if you're looking for a sugar daddy move along... ugh, I feel like I'm rambling here so I'm just going to stop and if you're interested: message me!

For a first date, I'm a bit of a traditionalist! I'm definitely a dinner/movie/drinks kind of guy... But I'm always open to suggestions and I haven't seen a good live band in quite a while!
