My hobbies are playing guitar in a band, going to the the gym and having fun with friends and family. I would love to go traveling to Europe, Mexico or across Canada again given the opportunity with someone. I am well cultured and experienced in life, I'm very honest and straight forward, and a very caring person.I have a great sense humor and love to laugh and joke around never taking anything to seriously, I am a very chill person and not much bothers me. I love animals and I have grown up all my life with cats and dogs. My taste in music is mostly rock based such as Pixies, Dinosaur jr, Frank black, Alexisonfire, Jimie hendrix, Rolling stone ,to many to name. I also love my hip hop/rap too but its less extensive then my rock tastes, im open minded when it comes to all music and will give anything a try.


After reading other profiles I'm going to go into more details about myself and why i am here. In july 09 I got out of a 4 year relationship, unfortunately people change, life changes and it could not continue. It was a wonderful experience and I have no regrets. Which brings me to why I'm here, I was told by some friends to try online dating sites such as POF to increase my chances of finding someone good for me. This is my first time using such sites and is a bit strange to me. It has been a long time since i've been single and in the last few months I've met a lot of new people and made some new friends. My life is fairly busy and I'm not finding enough time to go out and meet someone and I'm not really into meeting people at bars, clubs or parties but don't mind going to the bar or the odd party. I really want to find someone who is good for me and want waste the least amount of time weeding out the ones that are not.


I find myself attracted to European/Caucasian and Asian women with dark hair, but any hair color can be attractive. I'm very attracted to eyes, smiles and a fit body, but personality is more important than looks to me when it come to long lasting relationships in my experience. When it comes to personality you MUST have a sense of humor I love to laugh and if you can make me laugh I will love you forever. Being warm, caring, compassionate, understanding and intelligent are other important personality traits to me. Having an open mind and a calm nature are a must being uptight and stressed out is no fun.


At this point you have an idea of what I'm about but to really get to know someone takes time and I definitely have time for someone who has time for me. Emails and chatting online can be a good start but you can never really get to know someone till you hang out and talk with them in person. I would take my date somewhere I can get to know them better, such as a nice quiet lunch or dinner, coffee or a walk in the park. Then if we felt up to it we could do something fun such as a comedy show, canucks game or music concert.
