I turned 50 this year (Holy Crap, did I really say that?) Most of my friends would tell you that I am truly unique. Afterall, how many men do you know that raised two daughters singularly, rodeoed at 45, and would use guitars as a decorating motiff in their master bathroom? I'm a bad boy that evolved into a very good man. I worked my way through college, served my country for 6 years (OO RAH, the SEALs). Having spent that time in the SEALs, I only fear two things (very large snakes and most females).

I spend my time in the coal mine as an engineer. I design emergency power systems for hospitals/datacenters and solar/wind systems. I'm the guy when the lights go off, I make them come back on.

I spend my free time collecting, building, and playing a lot of left handed guitars, restoring a 65 Ford truck, going to every good concert that passes through Phoenix, and of course, riding motorcycles. Even though they are grown and moved out, I spend a lot of time with my daughters. I have a 3 year old granddaughter and I think she just rocks!

I'm just looking for a woman that can be my equal and that covers a lot of ground. I tend to think conservatively, have a strong connection to my God, not afraid to say what I think, or stand up for what is right. If you tend to believe that way, we might be a good match (or an interesting conversation).

I'm at the stage in my life where I have plenty of time for the next big adventure. What do you have in mind? I have to warn you that I am an adrenaline junkie. I've skydived, scuba dived in war zones, rodeoed, rock climbed, and raced performance motorcycles. I've never done any drugs, so I had to find the thrill in other ways. I have a slight fascination with Near Death Experiences. It's a result of being electrocuted in 2007 and coming back from death.

I'm intelligent, articulate,intense,well read, and can do about anything that I set my mind too. With the exception of picking a good partner, then I'm a complete idiot. HAHAHA I'm my own source of entertainment in that catagory.

I'd prefer to go for a motorcycle ride but realize some folks aren't up for that. I suppose the typical (God, I hate that word) "meet and greet" will work. A little conversation and getting to know each other to determine if there is mutual interest.

I'm not into "serial" dating but know that you have to kiss a few frogettes in the process. I'd prefer to have a "long term" relationship but I think you have to "date" before you get there.
