I am retired from the US Government but still work a little part time. I have a job at a federal half way house two days a week. I also am a Realtor and work part time with that. I did work a little harder at that before the housing market went south, but it is improving.

My favortie thing to do is travel both in the US and abroad. The last two years a group of friends and I went to Italy and had a wonderful time. This year we are thinking about a cruise in Europe. I would like to go to New York City sometime, see some plays, sightsee and shop. I would like to learn sign language. I don't really know why because I don't know anyone who signs, but I have always want to learn it.

I enjoying working through my church in mission work. I make baby quilt tops for our quilting group at church and they finish them off for charity. Right now I am involved in the Heifer International program where our church is raising $5,000 to buy a Noah's Gift Ark to send animals all over the world to help others.

I enjoy going out to eat at new places and trying new things. I like concerts and plays. Now that I am typing it out I guess I like what most people do. I love a nice evening with friends, just visiting and drinking a little wine. My family and I have poker games which is always fun. I like to go to some of the local casino's about once a month or so. I used to go to Las Vegas once a year, but have not done that in a couple of years.

I have one lovely married daughter, one grandson and two granddaughters. Ages are 19, 18 and 16. They live in a different state so I don't get to see them as offen as I would like.

I enjoy all types of music except Rap and Metal Rock. I like the old Motown music, country, classical and pop singers like Cher.

I am interested in meeting a man that has a good sense of humor, likes to laugh and have fun. He needs a kind heart and cares about others. Being wealthy isn't important but he does need a job or income of his own. Taking drugs is a deal breaker. Social drinking is fine.

On a first date I think it would be nice to do something where we could talk and get to know each other better. Maybe for the first meeting just meet for drinks somewhere or have dinner. Something not to intense.
