- I am writing this message from Cancun, Mexico.
- Tomorrow, (Monday, Nov. 30th, 2009) I will try to buy a ticket to La Havana. I
hope I will get one space on the 'Cubana de Aviacion' plane.
- I will get back to Chicago on December 15th.

1. My hobbies are: carpentry, walking, jogging, watching movies and do websites.

2. My main goal: I am looking for the friendship of a mature woman 55 years or older.

3. I am 59 years old, from Peru, South America. I used to work as a CAD designer in the Engineering Dept. of King-Fisher at Wheeling.
- I had many ups and downs in my life. I had successes and failures. I have several flaws. I speak Spanish and some Portuguese (lived in Brazil 4 months).
- I live in USA since 1985. I became an American citizen in 2001.
- I am a non-smoker and drug free person. I volunteer at the complex board where I live.
- The 1st. week of October 2009 with the help of mi daughter I was able to find cheap air tickets to Cancun and visit Chichen Itza -one of the seven wonders of the world-. See wikipedia.org

- Now, (as short-term goal) I am trying to find a lady as a partner to visit Cuba (probably at the end of December or January 2010). If you like to travel and adventure, this is a good opportunity to know one of the last communist countries on the Western World.

4. I like traditional latin music (bambucos, tangos, marineras, pasillos, cuecas, sanjuanitos, zambas, etc.)

- Trip Chicago to Cancun (Mexico). Round trip ticket: around $280
- Trip Cancun to La Havana (Cuba). Round trip ticket: around $300
- A trip to a third country is the only way that American citizens can travel to Cuba.
- Popular middle destinations are: Mexico, Bahamas and Grand Cayman.
- Trip will be, probably at the end of December or January 2010.
- Hostels in La Havana and other towns are around $10 to 15 US dollars a day.
