I'm a straight arrow. I tell it how it is but still try to be kind. I have been in New York for two years. I divorced about 8 years ago and moved here as I got tired of watching my daughters grow without me. I spent 6 years in the Marines and 11 years in corrections in another state. I'm a hard worker and have worked for everything I got. I believe in god, believe people should earn what they got and not freeload off the government. I'm not into the victim thing. I am currently going to school to be a nurse. Work as an aide in the mean time. I get my daughters every chance I get. I have a good relationship with my ex so there is no drama. Not looking for someone with lots of drama either. I don't have bills and am good with finances. I like everything outdoors,kyaking,motorcycles(sold mine when moved here),horseback riding(have 1 horse),wanting to learn how to snow ski, would be fun, hiking, love to travel, I don't drink but like to country/western dance(2 step, swing, 10 step, waltz etc.) I work out quite a bit at the YMCA in Norwich. I enjoy staying in shape. Makes me feel good. I'm just a good all around guy looking for a good all around gal. I'm an affectionate guy as I grew up with allot of affection so I need that. You must like affection as well. Things you learn in divorces. Just gotta have it. I am looking for a classy lady. I like classy people. I'm a countryboy but I still bring allot of quality to the table. No drama, couch potatoe and am looking for someone that takes pride in themselves and things they do. A caring,loving woman. Basically i'm looking for that gal that gives me the butterflies and makes me want more. Hence the name my butterfly girl.

On a first date I like to take a walk and get to know each other. You get a chance to be on a more personable level. Also you find out pretty quickly if you match or not. Food is always a plus as I love to eat. I'm a steak and potatoe kinda guy. But i'm a garbage can as I can eat anything. Too many years in the Marines I guess.
