I am a reader. I curl up and lose myself in books. I've done this since I was a little child, and it has taken me to many far away places and helped me to understand the world a little bit better. And I've learned stuff that way--mostly that there is more that we don't know than that we do know.

I like to be outside, but I cannot ride motorcycles or do any daredevil stuff. I can bake, and make some pretty good cookies, so I hope that makes up for my cliff diving deficit.

I am quick-witted, and it has gotten me into trouble many a time. I like to tell bawdy jokes, and laugh too much. I am not well-behaved, unless, of course I have to be. I raised three sons and there is not too much we don't talk about around here. I worked in a maximum security all-male prison for a few years, running trauma and handling the medication system, so I've seen a lot of things, too.

My natural hair color is not bright red, and in fact I will be changing it soon. Stay tuned.

I like classic rock and classical music. I listen to the stuff my sons force me to listen to, and I actually like at least one Marilyn Manson song. Scary, I know. I could not tell you the name of it, but it actually sounds like music.

I cook, clean, shop, paint my nails, decorate my house for holidays, smile, laugh, cry, and get up the next day and try to live as good a day as I can. I have learned from experience that we are not guaranteed another day, and I want to leave this world knowing that I did more good than bad.
