Hi, and thanks for looking at my profile. I was born and raised, right here, in Jacksonville, FL. I am just getting out of an 11 year relationship/marriage, and I am ready to move on!

I am a one woman man, who enjoys spending time with my family. My family includes my parents, who are still happily married after 50 years, and one older brother. I have the best dog in the world, a Chihuahua, named Chico. (Sorry I had to break that to you dog lovers. I guess you'll have to meet him, so you can find out for yourself.) I have a small group of close friends (as opposed to a large group of acquaintances) that I like spending time with. I like dining out, and going out for a few drinks every now and then. For the most part, I am a fairly quiet and laid-back guy, who is also content with staying in and watching TV, playing games, playing cards, surfing the internet, or sharing conversation and a glass of wine. I love Mexican and Italian food, cold beer, and the love of a good woman. I guess I'm easy to please. I like most all kinds of music, except the hokey country songs and rap/hip-hop music. Some of my all-time favorite bands are Pink Floyd, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles.

I am looking for a woman who is confident, comfortable, and content with who she is. I am looking for an attractive woman, who is healthy and happy, and has a kind, tender heart. I would hope she would get along well with her parents and/or siblings. I think it is important, to a romantic relationship, to have a stable family background. I am looking for a woman who does not have children (or has grown children), and does not aspire to start a new family, by having or adopting children.

I would like to go to a fairly quiet restaurant, so we could hear each other talk and get to know one another. I'm up for about anything, if it's going well, after that. I think doing something like miniature golf or bowling would be more fun than a movie though. You can't really get to know someone at a movie. Nightclubs are okay, but be warned, I'm no dancer.
