Ok.. well where do I begin? I am 37 years old, but most people think I am younger. I have a baby face and there is nothing I can do about it. Like many other people here, I am looking to meet new people. If your looking to just "hook up" don't contact me. You would be just wasting your time and mine.

I have come to a turning point in my life; it is time for me to start meeting my own needs. It has been a long time. I have started going back to the gym…uggg. Funny though I love how I feel after – but getting there! In my younger years I went the gym 7 days a week to lift weights – now it’s all about the cardio. I have the all the muscles I want now it’s time to uncover them, as my profile says “a few extra pounds”. I think it was my way to insulate myself from others – keep them away. Or it could be that I just love food. Either way, I am at the gym and my protective layer will soon be gone. So that just leaves me.

So what would you want to know about me?

I like being outside. Yard work, going fishing or camping. I play softball. I am the catcher. All of these leg presses paid off, cause I can pop up and catch those foul tips or go after those “full swing bunts” and get them out at first. It’s also handy cause if the runner is trying to come home, I am solid enough to block the plate (if I have the ball).

I also like to play pool. I am not very good, at least not compared to my team. I play in the RI APA league. I am only rated a 3 out of 7 and 2 is as low as it goes. Some days I can run the table and then the next time I cannot shoot a straight shot in to save my life. I keep trying, I am sure if I played more I would be more consistent, but I keep playing cause I always have fun!

I like to dress up and go out to eat dinner or have drinks. I have been told I “clean up good” lol. Going out might be seeing a live local band or more recently I have found myself going to sing karaoke. I love to sing – so if singing to the radio annoys you then I am not the one for you.

I have a sense of humor and love to laugh. I think laughter is one of those things that many people do not do enough of, especially at themselves. Not taking yourself too seriously is an important trait to me, but at the same time we all have responsibilities.

I love to read. Horror books, Steven King especially, are my favorite! I like movies too. But I would take a good book over a movie. If the writer is good at what they do, I can see and hear it in my head and the director, actors and anyone else involved in making a movie do not get between the story teller and their audience.

I'm a down to earth person looking for the same in someone else. So if you want to know more - then ask!

Dinner, drinks, coffee I am pretty laid back. It's not really about the activity. It's about having the chance to meet and get to know one another.
