| | Time for the update, I have to be honest and say I have been somewhat apprehensive about dating sites. However, that said, where is a 48 year old chap likely to meet singe ladies of his own age when the pubs and clubs are dominated by folk much younger. I have been on my own now for 7 years following the failure of my 18 year marriage. During that time I have been working abroad and in male dominated environments. I have had several short term relationships which were rewarding but lacking the depth and strength to last.
The difficulty in this pen picture is being totally honest, what I mean is we all look at ourselves in the best light and not always as others see us. I obviously have failings ranging from being a minor irritation to being downright insufferable but I can only identify them when someone close enough draws them to my attention. I consider myself to be of moderate intelligence, intellect and wit coupled with a strong sense of loyalty. I try and enjoy as much of life as I can with hobbies that include blues guitar, food, socialising and anything that can travel faster than 140 mph.
Well I have taken up much of your time and not told you much. But in closing I would like to take the opportunity of thanking you for reading this attempt of personal profiling.
Quick update to say thank you to the ladies who have sent messages. I failed to mention one of my major dislikes and that is tattoos. Their origins are tribal and symbolic for religious and cultural reasons, not for a fashion statement. I do not wish to sound judgemental however, they do nothing for me. Everyone has their own views on individuality which I respect. Thanks again for reading, oh I will be uploading a photo or two shortly.
