I always find it tough to talk about myself, but I'm willing to give it a try.

I consider myself a down-to-earth, honest person who is looking for the right woman. I work full-time for a newspaper and recently completed my Master's degree in childhood education so I can be an elementary school teacher. Since there is a hiring freeze in NYC, I continue to work at the newspaper and sub in the mornings when I get called. (Yes, sometimes I work both gigs in a day, but whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Right?) I enjoy watching and attending sporting events. I am a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and New York Mets fan so if you're a Yankee and/or Giants fan, I won't hold it against you. I also enjoy traveling. This past year I visited nine different MLB stadiums (including the two new ones in NY) plus one new NFL stadium and will be trying to go to two more trips in early December. The farthest trip I have been on was to Ireland with a bunch of friends and it was awesome, but I certainly would love to visit more countries. (Italy is tops on my list and what a surprise that is since I am half Italian and half Irish.)

So what am I looking for? I need a woman that has a sense of humor. I enjoy to laugh and I try not to take too many things seriously unless it is warranted. I am a family-oriented person who also is close to my friends. I enjoy children and would definitely like to have a family one day.

My schedule sometimes is a bit hectic but I will always try and make time for that special someone. I always treat women with respect and although I know many people say it, I don't play games. I am honest -- probably to a fault -- but I feel that's always the basis for any great relationship.
