I'm clingy, needy, in your face, smoke like a chimney, drunk every night and love my drugs. That is so not me. Did I mention I can be a bit sarcastic at times?

Honestly, I’ve tried this site out before and obviously did not have success or I wouldn't be back. Hopefully I can find a keeper instead of a throw back. If not I can meet some really interesting people along the way.

About myself, well I’m going to be the big 40 on my next birthday and truthfully, that scares the crap out of me! I can't believe it got here so quickly! I would describe myself as being kind, compassionate, thoughtful, caring. I’m certainly not saying that I don’t have faults, because we all do. I’m fit, and go to the gym on average 4 times a week. I can’t say that I love working out, but it keeps me healthy and active. I prefer to cook my own healthy meals, but can fall off the wagon and enjoy an occasional restaurant meal and oh yes that occasional beer while watching hockey. I enjoy going for hikes, participating in sports or even just staying home and watching some tv or puttering around the house. I do most of my own home renovations/improvements. Built a fence this summer with a little help from the neighbour and am really proud of how it turned out.

I’ve found it hard to find that special someone, as I guess you can say I’m a bit selective. I would prefer someone without children, which at my age, I realize limits my options, but I am open to meeting someone with kids. I love spending time with my family, but don’t get to see them as often as I would like as they live out of province. I prefer country music, but also listen to other genres. Rap is not one of them though.
