Women with a sense of humor, a quirkiness, or an ability to tell a story and not put God to sleep, feel free to email me. As much as this town (L.A./Hollywood) focuses on beauty, I've come to realize that, at least for me, looks is only part of the equation. A great personality is equally, if not more important.

That being said, you're going to find this profile incredibly void of humor. While I can be sarcastic and humorous, my ability to translate it onto a profile is about as likely as Stevie Wonder driving the 405 at rush hour. (and I just dated myself with a Stevie Wonder reference. Great...)

A bit about me. I work in the film business here in Los Angeles but have some how still retained some mid-western charm. That being said, I can be somewhat sarcastic if the mood strike but it's for humor and not to put someone down.

I love "popcorn movies", (you know, those action movies that are a fun ride but have a bit of a message), theater, and an occasional art opening. I dig dive bars, sushi, and tossing a ball with the world's rottenest dog.

I'm have a muscle car and go out to Big Boys on Friday nights occasionally, some car shows in the summer, and in the fall, wine tasting and sight-seeing.

A COUPLE OF NOTES:

1. Above, it says that I'm here for "Dating". Why the marketing/romance gurus at POF decided to separate "Dating" from "Long Term Relationship" is beyond me but if I'm dating someone, it's to establish a long term relationship IF things head in that direction.

2. I appreciate all the responses and interest and, early on, I tried to reply to any and all of them, but it is far too time consuming and I can't possibly continue to do so. So please know that, if I don't respond, it's not that I don't appreciate the interest, it's just that I don't think we are a good match.
