I have a 4 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. The kids live with their mother, in Indiana.

I lived in Florida for 22 years; mostly in Orange Park.

I try to keep a smile on my face... and I'll put a smile on yours too, even if I have to push on your mouth with my fingers...

I like to wrap my arms around my partner at random times when we are alone in the house and dance merrily, whether there is music playing or not.

I am affectionate... I think hugging, holding hands, and cuddling are very important in a relationship. I am not, however, quick to move beyond that.

I like to be outdoors, whether it is hiking up a mountain, trail running, bouldering, camping, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, swimming (in rivers/lakes/oceans/pools), climbing trees, casual tennis, badminton, or ping pong (or table tennis) with a friend, running around on a secluded beach and wrestling in the sand, digging ridiculously deep holes in the sand and climbing in, sailing on a breezy Spring day.

I like to hear the wind in the trees. I like to hear the river rushing over the rocks. I like to feel the sand/dirt/grass between my toes. I like to smell the wildflowers in a field...

I believe frolicking is a wonderful and mood enhancing activity.

I bounce around practically incessantly, sometimes literally off the walls. I sometimes come up with random things to say which often make no sense.

I like to sing and write lyrics. I was vocalist and co-founder of a folk rock band... I am casually seeking musicians to form another band possibly in one of these genres: medieval folk comedy, Celtic folk, gypsy jazz, rock, metal, industrial, or EBM.

I am interested in ancient history, technology, and mythology: Celtic, Gaelic, Saxon, Pictish, Teutonic, Brythonic, Scandinavian, Etruscan, Mycenean, Phoenician, Greek, Minoan, Carthaginian, Roman, Assyrian, Sumerian, Babylonian, Akkadian, Egyptian, Olmec, Toltec, Mayan, etc.

I like to draw and paint... mostly medieval fantasy, sword & sorcery, steampunk, renaissance, clockpunk, cyberpunk, or post-apocalyptic stuff. I also sometimes write stories to accompany my pictures.

I enjoy many beverages, including but not limited to Dr Pepper, Barq's root beer (it has bite), pineapple juice, green tea, and practically any mocha coffee.

Some food I really like: Dishes with spinach, asparagus, or cheese are usually fantastic! My favorite tastes would have to be grilled pineapple or fresh/sweet red, yellow or orange bell peppers (yes, I like to cook!).

When our bodies are old and falling apart I want to be with someone I can still joke around with and have a good time with!!! Yes, I hope to meet the right person, but the right person is someone who will be my friend foremost.

First meetings probably should not be considered dates and probably should be very casual and in a public place where chatting with each other can occur easily... but after that:

I am always a fan of a hike and a picnic... somewhere with a waterfall or a pretty mountain view or some fun rocks to play on... or a tree to climb.

Casual volleying and chatting on a tennis court or ping pong table.

Canoeing to an island on Lake Keowee for a picnic and maybe a swim.

Pick up coffee at Spill The Beans and stroll through Falls Park.

Bicycling Swamp Rabbit Trail and/or Cleveland Park.
