It's so hard finding something to say that truly reflects who you are and even worse, why you are unique. I don't particularly feel unique, I feel like a normal woman. I have good friends, a family that's close but not too close, I have a job, a place to live, not too many bills, I travel and in general enjoy my life. Oh, and like a stereotypical single woman, I have two cats. It's all good, except that I'd love to meet a special person to share life with. While my profile says I'm looing for a LTR, I'm pretty certain that you have to date someone before you get to the that stage right? Dating should be fun, not some pressure to commit. What happens will happen . . or not. I don't get freaked out by such thoughts . . .unless I really like someone and then I just need to know they feel the same. Wow, was that too much information? Anyway, I am generous in all ways with those I care about and tend to be the one that people come to for advice. My friends know they can count on in a pinch. Depending on how comfortable I am in a situation, I may be the shy one sitting back and listening, or I may be the trouble-maker, stiring things up (in a fun/good way). I gues I have a mischievous side. I tend to let logic rule when it comes to helping my friends, but my heart rules when it comes to me, I suppose I'm a bit of a romantic and wear my heart on my sleeve. I love to laugh and have a good sense of humor. Let's see, I prefer dresses to pants, heels to flats, and while I'm sort of girlie, I also don't mind getting dirty and am pretty good at fixing things around the house. I tend to listen more than talk and therefore like a man who talks more than me, but I can definately talk. I can be very passionate about the oddest things, and I occassionally ramble, but you've probably already noticed that! My favorite destinations tend to be by the water, whether it's an ocean, lake, river, creek or bathtub. I enjoy nice restaurants but prefer the casualness of eating at the bar. Now that I'm on a roll there is so much to say, but I'll hold some back for later.

I get shy and nervous about first dates. So I typically prefer them to be relatively short. Maybe meeting for coffee or a drink, sizing each other up, getting a feel for the chemistry thing.
