I love music. I play in two different bands and tour occasionaly with one of them. One is a speed rock trucker punk kinda thing (the one that tours) and the other is an experimental pop band. My tastes are all over the map. Slayer, Prince, Indigo Girls, early Van Halen, Pearl Jam, Band of Horses, Clutch, The Weakerthans, ect. are all equally as good depending on my mood. I also LOVE to mtn bike on the front range. We live in a paradise as far as biking is concerned and I love to take full advantage of it. I also enjoy getting tattooed. I have 7 at this point and will get more but realize the need to be reasonable i.e, no face, neck, knuckles, or anything that would prevent furthering my career in higher ed.

I absolutely love going to the movies. Especially horror/thrillers but can often be found catching the lastest kids movie with my daughter. Paranormal Activity looks great and Where the Wild Things Are was REALLY good.

I currently work in higher education administration and love my job. I have every intention of working in higher ed for the rest of my working life. It's a job I have a passion for that fits my life style. I was to begin working on a master's degree in public administration but my band is doing quite well at the moment and I want to ride that out before starting school again.

I guess you could say I'm somewhat conflicted. I'll yell in anger at political shows and yet old episodes of Little House on the Prairie get me misty. I love black clothes, loud rockandroll, and the super cute pink dresses my daughter wears. I love being a mean, tough looking, cool dad but I'm a complete softy. I'd do anything to make my child smile. I love to hunt but am totally pro choice. Hate the idea of more taxes but like the idea of health care reform. Just slightly conflicted. The world is too complicated to be seen in black and white.

I'm an atheist and have no interest in religion whatsoever. Some of the imagery is cool looking but have found the practice itself of no use to me.

I don't drink or drug. I used to and how!! But it started causing a bit too much trouble in my life so that's over. But I have no trouble with others doing as they see fit.

My idea of a first date is one with as little pressure as possible. Preferably coffee after work or something equally casual. I don't want to have to yell over a crowd in a bar or worry about getting something on my shirt over dinner (as this will surely happen at some point!).
