Is there nothing that ignites the senses more than filling out yet another personals profile, rife with trivialities and mundane information only a grandmother would find fascinating? I submit that there is not. And we all know that your "friends" didn't put you up to this, so you can lay to rest that tired little excuse. We're here because we want to find that missing piece. The one that fits so uniquely and perfectly that all our fears of ending up alone can now be quelled. The other school of thought, of course, is that you're just in the market to find a close friend/dating partner/confidant. Either way, you're still here looking for someone. I don't expect to find my proverbial soul-mate or future wife. I'm just looking for someone to spend time with, go to dinner, watch really bad movies, talk at length about anything that might interest us collectively. In short, I want to have fun. With another person preferably. Humor is imperative. Seriously...imperative.

Brass tacks - I'm 34, live alone near Addison, have a BS in Communications although I work in the insurance field. I've played guitar for 22 years, been in a few decent bands and still continue to play for therapeutic reasons now. I've never been married, no kids, not a drug addict or alcoholic. For fun, I go to bookstores, hang out with my small circle of friends, watch films of substantial and sometimes no consequence. I'll be honest with you even if it's not what you want to hear at the time, and I have tact in that department. I work in sarcasm like an artist works in oils. I prefer goofiness to solemnity, although I know when to draw the line.
