I am having a great time with the life that God is giving me. I love it. Woof! Woof! Just the other day, I thought, "hey, wouldn't it be cool to share all of this with another person - a co-conspirator in the joys of an adventurous life." So, here I am.

I am one of those people who loves to wake up in the morning. I have a head full of ideas. I am creative and very high-energy.
I love the ocean and sailing. I just got back from a little trip out in the Atlantic, and, oh man, I can't wait to go back. This is rather a serious issue for the whole LTR thing: I will be doing a lot of sailing in the future - around the world, for a couple of years; so if the idea of being out in the ocean, 1000 miles from nowhere, is unsettling to you, then let's just be friends.
What else: Man, I like painting, roasting coffee, baking bread, gardening, brewing beer, house projects, music: MUSIC. Very important. All kinds of good music.
I am pretty busy with a lot of projects right now. I want to make time for relationship(s), but I am busy. I am not really one of those folks who likes "hanging out in front of the TV". I have always been "busy", but especially now, because I have big goals - sailboats aren't cheap!
The thing that really sets me apart is my creativity and energy. I love to do special things for the special people in my life, and I pull out all the stops - lay it all on the line - to make these things successful. I'm not easily embarrassed. I will be your huckleberry.
This part of me comes with a disclaimer, because, sometimes, I'm out there, man. I'll get an idea or a vision, and I will chase that thing all the way and then some. Happily, the results are usually pretty cool, but the ride can be bumpy.
Music: I guess it gets a special section. Movies, music, art. It holds a special place for me, and a lot of folks, really. When I hear a piece of music that grabs me, emotionally, I have to have it. Vivaldi. Black Sabbath. Veruca Salt. Blue Grass. Whatever. If the connection is there, I want it. I generally don't listen to a lot of country - too depressing, mostly. I don't like a lot of profanity, so most rap is out of the picture.
Ok, last bit. My expectations are that I will meet a lot of folks. Some of those folks will become friends. One will be that special someone.
Oh, dang, I forgot about the right-wing, militant bit. I am a conservative, libertarian-republican. The notion of "global warming" is a hoax. I wish Sarah Palin was president. I could go on and on, but that should be enough.
Of course, I am paranoid of "big brother", so when we do date, we'll have to come up with some code words to make sure it's not a government trap.

Let's have coffee, for a couple of reasons: 1)If we are having that first date, then you are at least a coffee drinker, if not a big fan. 2) If we get there and discover that we'd rather be at the Dentist's getting a root canal than spending time with this person, then at least we have the coffee. 3) It's easy to talk over coffee.
