My Italian background taught me to go out of my way to make sure guests are comfortable, well-fed and sharing warm laughter and simple but real, respectful interaction that seems to be increasingly hard to find in the so-called reality/internet age.

As for me, I'm a native New Yorker who loves staring at the skyline from my rooftop in Astoria, but the view could be better if I had the right company.

I like to be goofy and absurd one minute, then ready to drop into a deep discussion the next. I realized a dream by writing my first book -- about the Yankees, but I'm aiming for different dreams these days. I want to eventually write something more personal. Maybe a comedy. Maybe a drama. Maybe all of it, as long as it makes people think and feel.

I'm trying to re-connect with Jesus these days and am making that a priority in my life. I still have some questions and some bumps, but I also feel strides are being made.

I like comedy, theater (I've performed in some amateur productions) , museums, lounges, dancing (though it tends to blend in with the comedy when I take the floor) and the joy you get from the silliest moments you didn't expect to have fun in.

Who I'm looking for: She'll dance in my room with me at a moment's notice and forgive me when I do something silly in public. She'll laugh with me, treasure God and her family and realize New York City is supposed to be so much more than the black-uniformed mannequins marching off to the latest club.

She has a wonderful heart. And a soul. And a passion that matches mine even as it stirs it. A desire to uncover the simplest pleasures that often get buried under the most absurd burdens as we chase the wrong things. She's funny, too. Kinda cute. And she wants to fall for me as much as I want to adore her.
