Spiritual growth is at the center of my life (on a good day!) I'd love to find someone who helps me draw closer to God. To become more kind towards others. To enjoy the amazing things about this life! Ok, and on a less profound note, just to have more fun...

FAVE ACTIVITIES
I love meeting new people, especially unexpected connections. Few things delight me as making a new friend on the train or supermarket! I love learning about different spiritual practices (e.g. with brothers at a nearby Christian monastery). I do art - drawing, collage, mosaic-making, etc.. I like going to art museums, esp. contemporary. I love hiking and taking in nature (big fan of trees!). Trying my hand at gardening. Used to love running (did a marathon!) before getting injured :-( I love traveling in the US and abroad. Love Acadia National Park.

GOALS/ASPIRATIONS:
What I'd like to keep sight of is living each day for and with God as much as possible. To love as much as I can. Growing spiritually is super important to me. That doesn't mean 'religious' activity necessarily. It does mean that I enjoy living mindfully and doing things that bring me alive. Of all my work experiences, I've really enjoyed community organizing - I'm passionate about social justice and get juiced up when I support someone who's been marginalized in society (people of color, low-income folks) to discover their own power.

MORE ABOUT ME:
I want to live simply and not lose sight of what's really important in life. Friends describe me as a bit quirky - a mixture of unexpected interests, experiences, etc. I really like to be direct and honest about, well, everything. I like getting to the place where we're sharing from the heart. I love surprises!

I was born in South Korea, immigrated to the New York City area when I was four and grew up in Queens & New Jersey (don't diss it!). Folks and younger brothers live in Long Island. Have also lived in Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and New York City before moving to the Boston-area for graduate school (Master's in Public Policy) about 10 years ago. I now love the Boston-area and have made it my home.

I'm fine with a simple coffee/tea date to start off. Something short and casual to provide a relaxed space to get to know each other a bit. If you think of a creative way to accomplish the same tone, I'm open! Gotta say, I'm a sucker for museum dates.
