I'm fun, honest, good-natured, and energetic. What do I do? I make art. I sell tiles and stone. I spend time with my friends. I visit my family (who are mostly scattered around Ontario). I love traveling (I've already taken a couple of years of early retirement to wander through asia, the south pacific, the subcontinent and bits of the western world.) I've seen all of our beautiful Canadian Provinces. The Territories of the North are as yet unknown quantities, which beckon... Canoe-camping with friends for a week+++ is a yearly ritual. Hacky-sack and photography happen whenever and wherever they can. Yoga is my friend for going on 8 years. I love Gardening and cooking. I make a lot of Indian and Asian inspired food - I look at recipes for ideas and then concoct my own exotic fusion dishes. It's really good 90% of the time, occasionally it flops, that's what happens when you take risks.

I'm fluently bilingual in both English et en Francais aussi. Malheureusement j'ecris ni tres bien, ni tres vite. Idéalment ma partenaire serait bilingue. It's not a requirement though.

I don't watch TV, but I enjoy films, especially documentaries. Animation rocks, especially when it gets experimental, I've been experimenting with my own animations recently.

Depending on my mood I listen to everything from Hip-hop to Reggae, Indian Classical Music to indie rock. I think good quality music exists in every genre, and I search it out rather than sticking to one flavour. I love freaking out on the dance floor. These days I've been listening to: The Evil Genius Orchestra, M.I.A., the Flaming Lips, TV on the Radio, Quantic, the Arboreal Quartet, the Roots, the Wax, Pick the Piper, Cariboo...

I value quality of life over ostentatious display, but appreciate the finer things in life nonetheless. The finest things are of course good company, good food, and good health ~ best shared in beautiful places.

Conversation during a walk on the mountain or over tea, coffee, or perhaps a pint... a simple situation where we can talk and get to know one another. That way at the end of the first date, we know if we're interested in a second date or not.
