Well some of my friends told me I should get a profile on here because it's worked for some of their other friends. I'm awfully skeptical of the whole online dating thing, but I told them I'd give it a try.

I like to keep things fairly simple. I like to watch movies, hang out with friends, play games, go out to the bar now and then (definitely not every single weekend), but one of my favorite things to do is to go to a game. It doesn't matter if it's college or pro, that whole atmosphere is just awesome... plus tailgating with friends is a lot of fun too when you get the chance to do that.

As for myself... I graduated from the University of Michigan awhile ago and got my Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and Planning, still looking for a job in that field right now though. I'm a very laid back person who gets along with everyone. I tend to be kind of shy at first when I meet someone new, but that shyness goes away fairly quick once we get to talking. I don't have any siblings, so I'm pretty close with my parents. I have a basset hound named Roscoe and he's spoiled rotten. I love traveling and have been quite a few places like: Florida, Colorado, the Bahamas, Washington D.C., but Las Vegas is probably my favorite place to go for vacation.

There's a couple things that are instant turnoffs for me and those are girls who don't like animals/pets and girls who feel the need to flirt with every single guy they meet.

As for music... I pretty much listen to everything except country music, just have never been able to get into that stuff. However, I'm not opposed to going out with someone just because we might have different tastes in music.

On a first date, I think the best thing to do is to go someplace where the two of us can talk and get to know each other better. I think going to get some dinner is a good start, then maybe go play some putt-putt, or go bowling, or even go shoot some pool and have a couple drinks.
