I love spending time with friends and family at the week ends. My kids are grown up - my daughter lives in Melbourne and I go out to visit twice a year, and my son lives close by.

Life is great overall but I am beginning to miss that special guy in my life.

I love the City of London for all its buzz, history and the architecture, the City skyline at night and I spend around 3 days a week working in the City.

I have a great job which I love and involves working closely with individuals and teams across a broad range of organisations. I enjoy variety, testing new ground and challenge in life and work.
Friends tell me that I have been spending too much time working recently and I now feel ready to look out for a special guy to share the good things in life and to see what develops.

I can be the life and soul of the party when I'm on form - so they say - I love meeting new people - but strangely can also be quite shy - but I also enjoy quiet times in smaller groups, chatting and having fun.

I have an eclectic taste in music - open to new musical genres from Leonard Cohen, Eric Clapton to Michael Jackson and recently enjoyed the 'Jersey Boys'for the second time around.

For a first date/meeting it would be good to meet in a relaxed bar or pub for a drink and an opportunity to chat and just to spend some time together to see how it goes with no pressures.
It's always great to spend time getting to know each other and hearing about different lives, journeys and future hopes and aspirations.

If I'm sounding too serious then just to add that an ability to have fun and to laugh at oneself and to see the funny side is also key!

Meeting for coffee during the day is an easy, relaxed way to meet up for the first time.
Going forward a cool date for me might include the theatre, cinema, live music and dinner - not all at once - although I do like to make the most of my leisure time.
My favourite drink is champagne and I can readily find opportunities for celebrating life!
