I am looking for a friend first 'cause that's where it starts. I want someone to talk with, see a movie with, etc. If it should develop into something else, I want a man who is not afraid to spoil the woman he cares for - like flowers for no special reason other than to say I was thinking of you.

I am usually a bit shy (sometime interpreted as standoffish) when I first meet someone but once I get to know them, I am certainly not shy. In fact, I have a horrible tendancy to be quite straightforward.

I love quiet evenings cuddling on the couch watching a movie, but am I am certainly not adverse to the occasional party night as long as it involves some dancing.

I love to laugh - yes - even at myself and I have a wicked sense of humour. I received a great email that sums up what should be everyone's motto: Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, smoke in one hand, favorite beverage in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOW - What a ride!"
