Sorry, but I live in the country with no DSL so it takes a while to open a message and respond. In the past I had to get off this site because I couldn't respond to everyone who wrote. So, here goes, if I don't write back, please don't take offense. I will say right now, thank you for writing, but if I am not interested I won't write back, and I won't take offense if you don't respond to me either... everyone has their own idea about what is attractive. I will read your profile and check out your pictures, so please have something good on there too.
I love music and singing. I love it so much, I actually make a living at it. I am the lead singer in a band, which is a great way to meet people, however since I don't like mixing business and pleasure.... not so good for the love-life. My job also makes it hard to date since I am usually working on the weekends and a few weeknights too. I really would love to find someone else who is as into music as I am, I think it would make a nice fit. It's not required, but I think it would be cool to be able to sit on the front porch, beach side or at the creek and make a little music. Whoever I am with needs to be very secure, since part of my job is to interact with the crowd and even to flirt with them, and I am a huge flirt. However, I am a faithful, loving person, I don't like hurting people and I hate being hurt. So, if I'm with someone, then that's who I'm leaving with no matter who I flirt with.
I am a proud single mother, who puts her children first! I have two boys 19 & 16. I am still very much friends with my ex's and believe that the best gift you can give your children is a good relationship with their other parent, whether you are married to them anymore or not. Children should never have to choose between one parent or the other. My oldest is in college on a football scholarship so during the season, I spend most Saturdays on the road to Birmingham to watch him play then back to play a gig of my own that night. My children are the most important things in my life... that won't change, however I do love having someone to share their achievements with, so someone who likes children is a must.
I am very independent, I don't need a man, but after over 2 years of being single, I WANT a man in my life. I want to feel close to someone again, knowing that they want to be with me as much as I want to be with them. I always give my all in everything I do.... I want to give my all to someone special. I don't want drama or games I want to be the last person you think of at night and the first person you think of when you wake up. I want it all.... is that so wrong? I don't want to settle for second best.... are you the best?
My mother wrote a poem about love which describes me best.... "Give to me a love with wings, so I have room to soar...."
?Here's to the girl who loves shopping for shoes, but prefers to be barefoot. Hates to sleep alone, but desperately needs her space. Has a warm heart, but is sometimes cold. Loves to be lazy, but will take the stairs. Tries to be independent, but sometimes needs to be carried. Tries to always be on top of things, but longs to be swept off her feet. Here's to me? |
