I live in South London. I have been single for a while and need to kick start my love life. I hope that POF will be the catylyst.

I work in Consultancy. A challenging job which sends me to a client projects across Europe. I regularly travel with work and can often be away during the week.

When I am back in London the recipe for a good weekend is catching up with friends over a few drinks, some food maybe a club (a chance to carve some shapes on the dance floor). Throw in some culture. A gallery, a museum or a concert (rock, jazz, indie, dance - don’t mind really as long as it is done by people with genuine talent). Finish off with a quiet Sunday evening. A glass of red wine in one hand and a DVD controller in the other.

Weekend of the future ? As above but with the right girl for company.

I play sport but do not consider myself sporty. Sport is a social thing. A means to catch up with friends. I play golf every couple of months and ski at least once a year. I also go to the gym and / or go for a run weekly. I am not a fitness fanatic. Sitting in front of the gym mirror doing concentration curls is not me. Fitness is a way of maintaining an average physique. Ensuring that when I stand up I can still see my feet.

I am told I have a dry sense of humour. Of course everyone on this site either has a good sense of humour or is looking for someone with one. Yet here we are, still single. So something somewhere is not quite right ! Anyway those that tell me I have a comic side are my friends. They can be a brutally honest bunch so if I was dull they would tell me so and move on. So I can assume I am the genuine article.

So what am I looking for in my match.

A girl who looks after herself i.e. keeps healthy and in shape,

Has a grasp of what is going on in the world. Has a point of view and can talk about it.

Chatty and funny. Fun to be around. Give as good as you get. Laugh at yourself as well as others.
