Well, I just got out of the military after 8 years of active duty. I have been to over 20 different countries, and one war. I was a Navy Corpsman (medic) stationed with the Marines. I do miss it, but that life isn't for me anymore.

Since I have been out, I have found a new job. I am also staying in the Navy Reserves, at least for a few years.

I have a dog, he's a boxer / lab mix. He's definitely my best friend. We hang out as much as I can. Also, I dont want him rotting away in the house, so walks are frequent.

As soon as I am situated, I would like to go back to school and get my Paramedics license. Hopefully soon, I'll have that opportunity. With my new job, I should have plenty of time to take care of that.

I do have a very witty sarcastic sense of humor. I might be shy at first, but after awhile, people learn that I am a very loyal trustworthy guy. Keeps a lot of good people around me!

I am catholic, and I go every Sunday morning. I am not a bible beater, I dont press my beliefs on anyone, and I am very content being who I am!

I'm looking for someone to share some lifetime with. Whether it's one date, 2 years, or 50 years. I love the companionship. I do look for people who are happy, stable, and stay somewhat in shape. I know thats asking a lot, but thats the way I am.

My ideal first date would be to meet a girl somewhere of their choosing. It's scary meeting people of the internet, so I would go out of my way to make you feel ok with meeting me. Maybe have some coffee, see if the initial spark is there. Then head out to the beach for a nice walk to get to know eachother. After a while, food would be nice!
