Hello gentlemen,

I'm not sure how this is going to work out for me since I spend quite a bit of time in the Arctic for work. But here goes....

I love love love being outside. I enjoy downhill skiing, hiking, camping, bombing around on skidoos, swimming in the ocean, sitting around camp fires, building igloos, etc etc. I am very independent and active. Some might say I'm a mover and a shaker.

I also am a giant music fan. Love live shows and learning about new bands and artists. My favourite band is Led Zeppelin but I enjoy all genres of music. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Talking Heads, Tegan and Sara, Steve Earle, K'naan, Kid Cudi, and old school Outkast.

I also am a bit of a travel nut and like to backpack whenever possible. I went on a university exchange in Russia, lived in East Asia for a year and a half, and have gone on other trips including backpacking Cuba this summer which is a place I am now in love, nay, infatuated with.

I don't really like cats (except my sister just got a cute kitten and named her Beyonce and I kind of love her). I am a dog lover. I enjoy eating raw veggies, the smell of grass and wet pavement, finding my way out via GPS, photography, reading, trivia games, crib, board games, frisbee.

My family and friends are hugely important to me. I also have a slight addiction to donating to Kiva, PLAN, and Oxfam. I love driving for no reason but feel guilty because my ecological footprint is far too big because of it. I don't watch much TV but my favourite shows are Oz and My So-Called Life. I love funny people. I would love to hang out with Sugar Sammy and/or Rick Mercer. Together or separate.
