I am a graduate student at UConn, working on the last phase of my Ph.D. (cell biology), and I want to spend what free time I have living life to the fullest. At this time, I am interested in meeting someone new and building a strong friendship. I want to have fun, try a few new adventures, learn something I didn't know before, dine at a hidden gem or test a recipe from scratch over a bottle of wine or a few beers.

I like staying active; my iPod keeps me motivated to challenge myself at the gym, focus on my studies, and P.R. in 5k races during the Spring and Summer months. Being a Bostonian, I am a huge Red Sox and Patriots fan, but I enjoy playing and watching all sports (I will steal the remote to watch SportsCenter!).

I'm looking to meet someone who leads a healthy lifestyle, knows when to work hard and when to play hard, and can challenge me mentally and physically.

My idea of a first date is simple -- whether it be an outdoor adventure through a state park, or just meeting for a coffee (tea for me) or drinks after the work day is complete -- as long as we have a great time and share a few laughs, the date will be a fun memory!
