When I read profiles on here, one thing that really sticks out in my mind is that there aren’t a lot of people out there who are passionate about doing things. People talk about likes and dislikes. Some say things like: ‘I like movies & music.’ That’s fine, but why? Do you have a favorite movie? Why is it your favorite? Get me involved in the conversation and make me want to talk to you for a reason other than your looks. Tell me why you are you. I’m looking for someone with a little passion, a little zeal, and someone who really understands what those words mean. This is who I’m looking for.

My hobbies are pretty simple. Movies, music, writing, video games, whatever. I've got four dogs and four cats. I live on about five acres, right behind a nature preserve. So, yeah, it's pretty nice. Nothing against the city life or anything. But, once you live in the country, it's almost impossible to go back.

I keep my work life at work and my private life at home. I really try not to mix the two. I know all sorts of people who believe all sorts of things and none of it really matters at the end of the day for me. I believe what I want and you're free to believe what you want. No one should judge you based on your beliefs. In fact, no one should judge you, period.

I like someone who's smart. If you can win at Scrabble, that's a start. I love games (not in a relationship, things like card games, board games etc.) It's sad that I have to explain that. When you're bored it's nice to have something simple to do to pass the time and I know a million card games. My Grandpa was a croupier and he taught me almost everything he knows.

I know I've written an essay, but I think it's important to know a little about someone before you get involved. Most people write like four sentences and they don't write them in paragraph form. How am I supposed to get to know someone who can't put together cohesive sentences in paragraph form? I guess all I can say is that I'm a unique person. I actually value relationships. If that's really what you're looking for, maybe we should get to know each other.
