Most of my spare time is spent with martial arts, kettlebells (I'm a certified instructor), cooking or reading. I've also got some techy projects. I used to read a lot of non-fiction, but lately I've been enjoying more fiction. Just for fun, I've been reading my way through the challenged books list (i.e. the books They Don't Want You To Read).

My favourite topics for conversation are food and how tech is changing our lives. My job involves getting people and computers to play nicely, and toying with the future of that is great fun.

Ultimately I'd like to escape the 9-5 I'm in right now and have more time to spend with my son, and meeting more people. To that end I'm starting some income automation businesses with a few friends.

My ideal girl would be bright and fit. Not necessarily geeky, but intelligent. If you enjoy friendly debates I think we'd be a good match.

Finally, I like quirky, but that doesn't mean entertaining on command. It means you're weird and you don't mind admitting it. If you would make a good character in a romantic comedy, we probably wouldn't get along.

My ideal first date would involve some quality food/beer/wine. C'est What? on Front street is a good example. Of course, we could just cook something together.
