I believe we are all on this planet for a reason, whether good or bad. I believe there are some people in one's life who teach us how to be, and some who teach us how not to be.

Growing up I was the youngest of three. My mother, along with my two older sisters, taught me respect for women, humanity, humility, religion, and life as a whole. They were great role models in their own unique way. My father was also a huge influence in my life; he was a scientist and a pilot.

As a photojournalist for almost 30 years I've met a wide range of people including Prime Ministers and drug addicts. I've been working at a major daily newspaper for the past 20 years but my career does not define me, however it's something I hope to be doing for the rest of my life.

I'm a full-time single father of an awesome 13yr old with a great sense of humour. I'm not looking for a step-mother for my son therefore I'd place no onus on you regarding him. I'm quite content playing the roles of both father and mother.

I've never been unfaithful to any of my partners in my past as I hold trust, faith and respect in deep regards. My given name means 'The Promise', and I take this seriously...besides, I'm a bad liar and I know I'd never get away with it!

Hiking, riding my mountain bike and playing soccer are things I really enjoy.
