I love to laugh and am not afraid to feel. I have common sense (which isn't really very common, is it?), am driven and self motivated, and am fun AND funny. I'm serious about matters of the heart and soul (translation: no mind games, just emotional and intellectual honesty, which I admit can be ooow scary).

I have my own business, and I work a lot, so finding someone to do things with is and to share with - the other side of life - is why I'm here. I love adventures, and enjoy camping, golf, reading, hiking, writing, and just hanging out. I also like theater, the symphony, concerts, and the Botanic Gardens. Also, the spontaneous road trip to somewhere new is exciting. I'm ok alone, but I know I'm not complete (it's a quantum physics thing). I believe in the power of the mind to create anything.

I have two children - a girl and a boy (7 and 5). They are INCREDIBLE and teach me so much about the potential for life and and the power of love. They inspire me to be the best I can be. They have such a spontaneous joy for life - they laugh and feel without any fear of being hurt. I want to be like them when I grow up...

I'm open to making friends, as well as my best friend/life partner/soul mate. Friendship and attraction come first though.

First date - meeting for a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or beer, talking, going for a walk, and more talking, so we can see if we have enough in common to warrant a second date.
