I recently changed careers and am happier now than I have been in years, it's great to do something you really enjoy. I'm looking forward to growing within my new career so I can live life to its fullest. Previously, I felt like I was living to work rather than working to live. This change hasn't been easy, but in the long run it will be well worth it. A calculated risk is better than not changing what was making you miserable.

I'm a morning person and love watching New York City come alive as people start their day. Hopping on my bike and riding into the city early on a weekend is a great workout and a great perspective on the city. Most people just know the hustle and bustle of NYC, but when you see it during the early morning before the streets and sidewalks are clogged, it's refreshing.

I love sports and am a Giants, Yankees and Islanders fan. Hockey is my favorite sport and I hope to get back to playing soon, though my ability is far below my love of the game. It is great exercise though. Love playing golf, but have played so infrequently in recent years when I do play it is just a long day of frustration.

I enjoy NYC and what it has to offer, though I will admit there are tons of things to do here that I take for granted. There are times when I feel like I should just pretend to be a tourist and do everything a tourist would do in NYC. At the same time I'd rather do the things that are further off the beaten path than most tourists would do. Coming to NYC and eating at Outback Steakhouse? Why would anyone do that?

Home cooked meals are very important to me. While I like going out to restaurants, I also like to cook and am always looking to try new dishes. I also know how to make beer and the combination of a home cooked meal served with a beer I've brewed is highly satisfying. I'm no chef, but I do a good job following a recipe.

My favorite first date is just drinks at a quiet place so we can talk and get to know each other.
