Ah yes, the famous ‘About Me’ section. Well, I could bore you with all of the surface things, but that won’t give you any insight as to who I am.
So, here we go…

I’m the girl that is always wearing a smile. Even on a bad day, I manage to give my frown muscles a break and crack a smile or two. I’m pretty optimistic and try to see the brighter side of every bad situation. If I can change it around, great, if not, then I try to change my attitude towards it. It's not an easy thing to do, but if I can avoid stress, I will.

I usually end up making people laugh because I’m such a dork and have the most random things to say. If I can turn someone’s day around at my expense, then that’s fine with me. Laughter, after all, is the best medicine!

Dressing up for a fun night out is great, but I also enjoy staying in and watching movies. I don’t mind getting dirt under my fingernails either. That’s what soap was made for! I have always wanted to play football in the mud, but have never had the opportunity to do so…yet!

I have a good head on my shoulders and posses a quality some people lack, common sense. I know when to have fun and joke around, but I can switch gears at the drop of a hat if need be.

I’m usually the one my friends come to for advice since they know that I will be open and honest with them. I won’t sugar coat the truth, but I do take their feelings into consideration. The truth is a hard thing to deal with as it is, but having someone twist the knife even deeper isn’t necessary.

Every relationship needs to have a mental as well as physical attraction. You really can’t have a ‘functional’ relationship without the two. That being said, the ability to communicate well is a must for me. I’d rather work through a disagreement than ignore it and end up getting the ‘I’m sorry’ flowers the next day.

Characteristics I like in a potential mate include, but aren’t limited to:
Great sense of humor, a wonderful personality, compassionate, intelligent and educated. Someone with a few of the same interests as myself would be nice as well.
