I spend my time writing, shooting photos, listening to music, watching movies, etc. I am new to California, moved here from Portland, Oregon a year ago. I enjoy finely crafted beer, I like beer like most people like wine. I found my love, my passion in life, journalism, only a few years ago, so I am just starting to achieve my goals and accomplish what I set out to do. I am a funny guy, I find humor in sometimes inappropriate or odd situations, but I have ben told I am kind of like a stand-up, so I think that's a compliment. I love comedies of all kinds, but the likes of dry, fast, witty humor is my favorite. Don't have any tattoos or piercings, though I have contemplated tattoos to no end, just want to make sure it is right before it is permanent, ya know? I am passionate, driven, and I have been told I have an old soul, or am wise beyond my years. I am very liberal and a vague Christian, though my bible sits right next to the Koran, so I am openminded to say the least; understanding the world and people is my life's motive. I listen to everything from 1940's Bob Crosby to lyrical hip-hop like Atmosphere; I also love folk/alt rock and the blues, pretty much anything but modern country. Shopping is not something I do often, I don't keep up with the style of the times; don't own Diesel or whatever Ed Hardy is. A man of simple wants and needs, I don't complicate things, they should come easily or with joy, so I try to take it easy and not worry. If you want to know more just message me.

I am looking for a good woman, someone with an infectious laugh and a great smile. I like humble low-key girls who put more time in during the day on thinking than doing her make-up. I want a smart, intelligent girl, someone driven, passionate, creative, watch a movie, go on an adventure. You gotta like live music of all kinds, good food, and just having a good time doing whatever it is you're doing. I want to meet people who love where they are in life, but have goals they are actively trying to pursue.

Cliche thing like dinner, drinks, ice cream while we walk down main street and people watch getting to know one another. Dancing if we have enough drinks, but dancing might be too intimate for the first date interview process, which a first date is. A first date is like checking your background, dating history, checking Ex references to see whether or not you play well with others. But I am a door opener, chair puller, coat taker, etc., romantic cliches. Hopeless romantic so I like any first date as long as it gets to a second.
