My hobbies, I really enjoy writing stories and I really don't know why. It's quite hard work and not the most social of activities. Other things I like to do are playing a bit of golf (playing is probably too strong a term for what I do with the metal stick thing) and I really like skiing although everyone tells me I'm too old for it these days!

I would really like to publish one of my stories and become an author but I need to get a bit more disciplined about sitting down and writing stuff.

I thought the best idea would be to ask some friends what they thought of me rather than babble on about myself. The printable replies were:- Thoughtful and happy chap that is practical and down to earth. Paul is a nice and
funny guy that simply hasn't found the right person. He's an interesting guy that likes playing sports and writing

I would describe myself as a reserved, easy going person and like to think that I also have a keen sense of fun.
After all, life is too short to be all work and I'd quite like to share fun times with somebody special.

I'm quite flexible on the first date really as I think it depends on the people involved. Ideally, I'd like a first date to be stress free and pleasant for both parties so I'd suggest a nice informal restaurant to enjoy some nice food and maybe a glass of wine or two.

I'm just as happy to meet in a cafe or pub in the first instance as that may be a bit more informal.

Another thought I had for a first date was a simple walk but that might be a bit boring. However, I have a lovely border collie dog that would never be bored.
