UPDATE: Not looking for sex or to "feel goosebumps". Looking for intelligent and funny friends and casual dating at this point - people to hang with socially - and see where it goes. Not into long motorcycle rides, fishing, hunting, Nascar or football. I don't have a problem if you enjoy those things with your friends, but if you want someone to enjoy them with you, I'm not the one.

I like to laugh, talk and just hang out. I'm a very positive person, and people say I have a great positive energy and attitude. That's why I was hired for my present job, which was strange, since I'm used to being hired for my skills! I love a good wine. I like discovering new places, although I don't have to be on a constant adventure quest. I love learning things from people on all different subjects. I try to work out 5 times a week.

My favorite movies range from the XMen trilogy, Bourne Trilogy, LOTR trilogy, original Star Wars trilogy, and of course chick flicks - romantic comedies (which I will not make a guy watch - that's just for nights when I'm alone). TV - don't really watch it, except for House. Loved the original Star Trek series and caught Friends on DVD.

I'm not a social butterfly, but I really like interacting with people and getting to know them. I like to hang out with small groups of people where everyone gets to share what's going on, and hopefully we can have some laughs.

I am a musician, although I haven't played, written or sang in a long time. Would love to find some people to sing or play with (I love finding and singing harmonies and play keyboards) just for fun. Not mandatory, but just a wish.

Another wish - I'd love to go dancing once in a while.

As for musical taste, I'm pretty much 70's & early 80's, middle-of-the-road, with some rock mixed in (Boston, 38 Special, Foreigner, Eagles).

I would love to go to a restaurant or quiet bar and just get to know someone - talk and share. If there was a place that played live music, that would be even better. Just want to feel comfortable around someone, without any pressure of anything else happening.
